No one serves anything like Gold Star or Skyline. The cheese is different, the chili tastes much different and is a different type of chili. It's really not even the same type of food.

Honestly, I've never even tried Steak and Shake's version, because it doesn't look as good as what I've had at either Gold Star or Skyline. Howwever, it's still the same kind of food. It's still chili and spaghetti.

weird combination, huh? how about weird non-combination?

I do not put milk in my cereal, ever. I put the cereal in a bowl, put the milk in a glass, eat some cereal, drink some milk, and repeat...I don't like soggy cereal. If I wanted mushy cereal, I'd eat oatmeal. And no I don't want to "eat it quickly so it doesn't get soggy". you know what, if cereal was meant to have milk in it, then it would come that way in the box. So all of you that eat cereal with milk are the weirdos, not me

^ same here with the cereal, though i can stand some milk in certain cereals, like milk in cocoa crisps so the milk would turn into chocolate milk and taste good.. back in the day.
Ive seen quite a few people eat dog treats.. biscuits, dry food, people eat rabbit food, etc.. thats odd to me.
But, I don't really eat that much odd food, though I do have a thing for eating hot peppers. About a week ago in my electronics class this guy brought in a Habanero pepper (the hottest in the world, but it wasnt the hottest type of habanero, but nevertheless) and I ate it whole in one bite, no water, no food, nothing. Just ate it whole and sucked up the horrible pain and burning sensation that would follow for the next 25 minutes. It was pretty bad, every time i'd swallow i'd get that burning hot sensation in my stomach. Thats about it.

ahh, a weird combo that I've seen recently, not a combo I do myself, but I've seen this new trend of people putting eggs on a hamburger like it was lettuce or something...what is up with that? I saw this in PA...

seriously, who came up with that and why stop there? "I think I'll put a porkchop on my burger...or maybe a boneless chicken breast...ooow, how about a nice piece of salmon"

Yeah...I've been to both, and they're both great, but I prefer Skyline. I make it a point to stop there anytime I'm in the area.

Cool. I personally like Gold Star a little bit better overall, although I think Skyline is better for the chili and Gold Star for the coneys.

Gold Star is more popular around the area. It wins all of the taste test awards on a consistent basis. Empress Chili has been ahead of Skyline in many of the tests.
